Who we are
GuardDoc is a service provided by GUARDDOC LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17345112. GUARDDOC LTD is the data controller for personal information processed through the service. We provide cyber security and data protection policy documents to UK small businesses. What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account and complete the questionnaire, including your name, email address, business details and the answers you provide. We also collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe, and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
How we use it
We use your information to generate your policies, manage your account and subscription, provide customer support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@guarddoc.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
How long we keep your data
We keep your account and policy data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and keep the service working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
